My dear friends
As you can imagine, from my present address communication
possibilities are limited so I am thankful for every message that I can send out.
Thanks to Dries who came down and set me up so that I could
have some measure of connection to the outside world.
Heartfelt thanks to you for words of encouragement and
prayer support. Please accept this as a personal note to you.
By God's grace we have found a new ventilator; I hope to
have it running already by this afternoon. Pray that the two of us will be compatible.
As much as I am getting good care here I long to be home as
soon as possible. On the other hand friends, at this place I am seeing death at a close
range. In less than two weeks at least four patients have passed away in our unit.
I must admit that I was very shaken by the breathing
struggle and death last evening of Dudu, daughter of the National Minister of Transport,
Mr Jeff Hadebe. She came in last week, sick but still very lively and sociable. We felt
and prayed for her and the family as over the days she kept going down. In the end one
prays for strength to accept what one cannot change.
For Radio Khwezi friends I have included the Station
Manager's report which I put together with the help of the Management team.
Have a blessed week.
Pressing on!
In His love
Fano Sibisi
