My dear friends
Yesterday, my son Meliqiniso and I were discussing about the
importance of consciously, not habitually, praying for daily grace from above. I have to
live that out in a practical way; I am acutely aware of how quickly one's circumstances
can change.
On Wednesday afternoon my Breas PV 403 ventilator suddenly
cut off, robbing me of the much needed air supply. For the moment no one was around and
when I tried to ring the alarm bell the hand refused to cooperate. So, for some crucial
precious seconds I just hoped that someone would come into the room. Then mercifully one
caregiver, and soon a second one came; one ventilated me manually while the other tried to
restart the ventilator.
Knowing that God remains in control in every situation gives
me deep inner peace. Psalm 121 has become even more special. I need the Keeper of Israel!
"Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall
neither slumber nor sleep." (Psalm 121:4)
Have a blessed weekend!
Pressing on!
In His love
Fano Sibisi
