As you pray -30 May 2009
My German physiotherapist, Annegret
Hauptmann, flew back early in the week. She assessed my situation and gave valuable advice
to the team. May God bless her.
After three months in South Africa
my young French nurse, Pauline Bouzerand, returned to Paris this week. Apart from her
labour of love, she became a part of our family. We wish her God's blessing.
Greetings from Ferny Jaegle in France.
He requests prayers for this Pentecost weekend services with Onkel Friedel in Genets d'Or,
Alsace.
Our thoughts are also with
CFT-France as they will be holding their AGM and Annual Conference today.
Our prayers
are also with Ruthilde Husslig and Fraenzi Stegen who are presently ministering in
Europe. After spending the first part of their stay in Germany they have moved on to
Switzerland.
Aleta Sopha from Northern
Germany came by. A while back, I shared with you that this young woman (she was
only 19 then) had a big dream of acquiring a mobile clinic for Doctors for Life (DFL). The
Lord blessed her efforts and the clinic is expected to arrive any day from now on. We
thank God and wish her and the project His blessing.
Tomorrow, Sunday 31 May, is
International Day of Prayer.
Part of me is with Onkel Erlo, the
KwaSizabantu Choir and other co-workers who are on an outreach in Namibia from this
weekend till Wednesday. The invitation came through some farmers from Otjiwarongo and
different churches have joined hands in the arrangements.
The main event is
the International Day of Prayer service at the Otjiwarongo Stadium tomorrow where
Onkel Erlo will be the main speaker. There will also be additional services for men, women
etc. Your prayer support will be appreciated.
We thank our friends Dr Francois and
Almarie Louw for hosting the team in Gobabis, Namibia.
Our gratitude also goes to Carel and
Sharlene Snyman of Lichtenburg, Northwest, for hosting the team en route to and from
Namibia.
Joseph
Greyling requests that we pray for the TNT team that will be ministering in Qwa-Qwa,
Free State, in the coming week.
Just a thought -
Pentecost
If Christ had
lived on physically on earth how many people would have had the privilege of meeting Him,
let alone live with Him?
Indeed, it was good that after
accomplishing His mission on earth Christ ascended into heaven and then sent His Spirit,
His presence, to indwell us.
Mystery of mysteries, Christ can live in each and everyone
of us at the same time.
Have a blessed weekend.
- Pressing on!
In His love
Fano Sibisi
