On Sunday
Onkel Erlo introduced Roebi Gujer, an engineer and inventor from Switzerland.
Roebi gave a brief testimony of his fight with a vicious kind of
cancer and how in response to prayer the Lord touched him. I am sure that I am not the
only one who was moved to sing praises to God.
Another cause for thanksgiving is that Roebi is here with his two
daughters to commission a special machine that he has manufactured for the packaging of
our dairy products. I was thankful that Roebi and the girls came through today
to show me a video of the 'Gujer' in action at the dairy.
This weekend we are celebrating 10 years of aQuelle. The
story of aQuelle is another miracle for which we keep thanking God. People out there might
see aQuelle as a business success story but we know that it goes much deeper than that.
Tannie Esther Bornman and Helga Landwehr flew to the Cape
yesterday for women's services in Humansdorp. Later next week they will be visiting the
brethren in the Western Cape. Tannie Esther asked that we remember them in prayer.
It was exciting to hear from Jan de Bruin in 'de Cederborg' about
their radio ministry. For over 5 years they have been broadcasting for a few hours a week
on a local radio station in the Groningen area. As from Monday they are being offered an
hour in the evening, 5 days a week, by another radio station which broadcasts into Belgium
as well. To crown it all, the local station has given them 2 additional hours per
week. They will value your prayer support.
From the south of the Netherlands Oom Wouter Mout requests that we
pray for him as he will be addressing third year students of 'Social Pedagogy' in
Amersfoort on Thursday. 23 October. The theme will be the danger of occult healing and the
Biblical response to that.
Klaus Deis and a team are at a Book
Exhibition (Buchmesse) in Frankfurt until tomorrow. It is his prayer that
the ministry of 'Bibel- und Schriftmission' will reach many a soul, to God's glory.
Have a blessed weekend.
Pressing on!
In His love
