As you pray - 11 October 2008

My dear friends

We are thankful that Onkel Friedel and Tante Rita are back safely from a blessed preaching tour in Europe. We shared in the blessing when Onkel Friedel gave us a report on Sunday.

Onkel Friedel asked us to pray on for the auditorium reconstruction process. He introduced Simon Krattiger (son of Onkel Hans and Tante Lilly), a Swiss brother who is in the construction industry in Romania. Simon returned to Europe on Monday after spending some time at the auditorium site to gather information for the preparation phase.

Bruno and Stella Hlongwane came through the other day to share about last weekend`s International Life Chain activities in Empangeni and Durban. It warms the heart to see how the message of life triumphs over the culture of death.

Our good doctor Albu van Eeden came by yesterday.  This is a busy weekend for Doctors for Life. They are hosting a training seminar on 11th Counselling (counselling women who are on their way to abort their babies) by Prof Pat McCewen from the USA.

Albu also requests that we pray for the preparations for an outreach to Angola that DFL is planning for November. It is his prayer that in it all God`s will be done.

DFL`s Johan Claassen asks that we pray on for the Zavora Clinic Project in Mozambique, specifically for the right personnel.

Our prayers are with Michael Ngubane and Bongani Zondi who travelled to Mozambique for a weekend of services at Carlos Vilanculos`s place.

Part of me is at Lindach today, at the Annual Conference of CFT-Germany. The main theme is `Gender Mainstream.` Klaus Alius has requested prayers for the conference.

It was good to hear from Didier Schott in Paris again. At the beginning of the week he spent 3 days of services with the Gypsy Christians in the south of France. He rejoices to see God`s working amongst His people.

Didier also shared with me that he has been invited to a special occasion at the Heges of Schafbusch in Alsace. Uncle Oscar and Aunt Jacqueline Hege are celebrating their Golden (50th) Wedding`Anniversary. We thank God with them and the family and wish them God`s further blessing.
