Didier Schott is deeply thankful for the services
with the Gypsy Christians in Montpellier, Southern France, last weekend. The Lord blessed
Onkel Friedel's ministry to those brethren. Didier requests that we pray for God's further
blessing on the seed that was sown.
Our prayers are with Onkel Friedel and the team in Europe. They are ministering in
Switzerland this weekend.
The co-ordinator of the Eurochoir Michel Hege requests that we pray for
the preparations for a tour to England from 30 October to 3 November, Lord
willing.
Peet and Andra celebrated another beautiful milestone on
Wednesday, 17 September - their Silver Wedding Anniversary. Their joy is our joy. We thank
God with them and wish them His further blessing.
Surely, Cedar College of Education, Domino Servite School and
Tabitha Adult Centre students are not the only ones who will appreciate your prayer
support as they work through piles of bookwork, in preparation for the final examination.
Gideon Jacobs will appreciate your ongoing prayers for him
and the Smithfield ministry. We thank God for all the doors that are opening for sharing
God's Word.
This weekend Gideon is ministering in the Eastern Cape.
He was due to preach twice at the Williamses' farm in the Gamtoos valley yesterday .
He is invited to take the service in the Jeffreysbay Baptist Church today.
Radio Khwezi's Governing Body is due to meet today to discuss
important matters. As the Lord reminds you pray for Khwezi. The Lord knows what our needs
are.
A big team is scheduled to leave for the Malelane Centre in
Mpumalanga on Wednesday. Pray for the preparations and the Youth Conference this coming
weekend.
Our prayers are also with Linda Magqabi from
Johannesburg and team that will be holding services in Bizana, Eastern Cape,
this week.
As the Lord reminds us let us pray for Doctors for Life. God
knows what their specific needs are.
Dr Albu van Eeden requests that we pray for the medical outreach
in different parts of South Africa with a couple from the USA, Dr Gene Smith and
his wife. In the coming week they will be doing clinics in the Sandspruit and Drakensberg
areas.
On Thursday Albu will share the platform with Brother Andrew from
Open Doors at the Christian Medical Professionals in the Drakesberg. Remember this
conference.
DFL's Johan Claassen also requests that we pray for the imminent
visit to DFL's Zavora Clinic in Mozambique with a group of DFL's Dutch friends.
Johan has also asked that we pray for the preparations for a
medical outreach in Angola in November, Lord willing.
As announced at the CFT Conference, this year the International
Life Chain Day falls on Sunday, 5 October. CFT-KZN is planning for an action in
Durban. We would like to encourage other provinces to initiate or join action by other
pro-lifers.
On a more personal note, thank you for all the prayer support. I
have much to share but my dysfunctional body is lagging far behind. I look to
the Great Physician.
