Georg Grau and a big team from Germany returned on Tuesday from a
mini-conference in Russia, about 500 km south of Moscow, in Lipetzk. They are thankful for
God's wonderful working in people's lives.
(In fact, even before this prayer letter went out a message
came from Albu, praising God for a highly successful meeting. DFL have the green light for
the building of the theatre.)
Gideon Jacobs from Smithfield requests prayers for himself
and the team as they will be preaching on several farms in Bloemhof this weekend. After
the weekend, Gideon will stay on to visit farmers in the area.
A team from KSB, consisting of Sibongiseni Khumalo, Bruno
Hlongwane, Ntombi Mgidi and Octavia Mtshali, will also be minister
there.
Radio Khwezi and the Masibumbane Listeners'
Club are doing a presentation in Pietermaritzburg today. It was heartening to listen to
some cross-overs between Pietermaritzburg and the live studio. I thank God again for
the opportunities that come with the radio ministry.
Onkel Robert Maeder is back from Europe. He came by
to bring me greetings and assurances of prayer support. I am greatly comforted to know
that in spite of my long illness friends are still praying on.
We are thinking of Wouter and Tjitske Mout together
with their children as they are just about to come over from the Netherlands to
KwaSizabantu. May the Lord grant them safe travelling mercies and further guidance.
Michael Mueller from Bensheim requests prayers
for himself and a group of young people from Switzerland who have been invited to minister
at a youth conference in Poland next week, 27-29 August. It is their prayer that they will
be a blessing to the people of Poland.
Greetings from Didier Schott in Paris.
As they prepare for the new academic year for their
school the Paris brethren would be thankful for more teachers.
Didier also requests us to pray for the preparations
for services with the Gypsy Christians in Montpellier, scheduled for 12-14 September.
In the light of the devil's diabolical determination
to win our young people over to his side, challenging truths like the ones I found in an
eSermons article should keep us on our knees before the Lord.
"One Generation Away from Extinction
It has been pointed out that the Church is always one generation from
extinction. If we don't spread the Gospel, it will be just one generation
away from disappearing from the face of the earth. It's a compelling idea,
isn't it? It enhances our sense of Christian responsibility. We need to
get out there and work for the Gospel or the Church could fade into
history."

Have a blessed weekend.
Pressing on!
In His love
