After reading Joseph Greyling's report on TNT's outreach to
Bloemfontein last week I thank God again for such opportunities.
On Wednesday Joseph, Roxane and Nico van Zyl got to share with the
Radio Khwezi listeners about the Bloemfontein trip and the drugs problem in general.
Again, I am thankful for the radio's multiplying effect.
Sometimes we may be tempted to think that our ministry is but a
drop in the ocean of evil around us. Remembering that our Lord said that there is
rejoicing in heaven over one sinner that repents should give us the correct perspective
about our labour in the His vineyard.
There is excitement and action at Domino Servite School
today. It is Sports Day. In the midst of winter we thank God for the sunny day.
This day 9 August is Women's Day in South Africa, a holiday of
great political significance. Throughout the country there are events to mark
the day.
Women's Day is one of the dates that CFT targets to
raise awareness on various moral issues.
This time
CFT-KwaZulu-Natal is focussing on developments around abortion. They
have organised a Pro-life March in the province's capital, Pietermaritzburg,
today. May our Lord who is the Life always march on in victory before us.
Incidentally, KZN's Health Department has a special
focus on abortion for this women's month; unfortunately in a direction opposite to
CFT's.
This afternoon True Love Waits and TNT teams have
been invited to address a youth meeting in Eshowe. Your prayers will be valued.
It is cause for joy when two True Love Waiters get
engaged and get
married. In fact, a
triumph of abstinence over promiscuity is good news, not only for the church, but for the
whole of society.
We rejoice with the families and friends of Jeremy Jaegle and
Marilyn Comelli as they are getting married in France today. May God bless them.
At KwaSizabantu there will be a double engagement tomorrow.
Johannes Mooka will be getting engaged to Kwenzeleni Ntanzi. Andrew Muller will getting
engaged to Jerusha 'Miss True Love Waits' Olsen. Their joy is our joy, and we wish
them God's blessing.
Klaus Deis from Limburg requests prayers for two services; one
this afternoon by the children's team for the neighbourhood children, and this evening
young people will be reaching out to other young people.
Have a blessed weekend.
Pressing on!
In His love
