As you pray -13 June 2008
My dear friendsLast weekend I got a message from a thankful Swiss couple, Peter
and Elisabeth Wenger, who were ministering in Poland. May the Lord bless the good
seed of His Word.
Greetings from
Mario Rocha, this time in Romania. This week, he and George Ochse have been
enjoying fellowship with the brethren in Romania. Thank you for all the prayer
support for them and the group from the Eastern and Western Cape. They were
blessed as they ministered and got ministered to.
After three months in South Africa
Gabriel and Maria Besenszky are back home in Romania this week. Before they left they came
by and told me what a blessed time they had. They will appreciate your prayers for them
and the ministry.
We join the families and friends of
Paul Escach and Abigail Roumeas in wishing the young pair God's blessing as they will be
getting married in Southern France tomorrow.
In Paraguay, Herbert and Mientjie
Reimer have requested prayers for a weekend of services that started yesterday. May the
Lord glorify Himself.
There are quite a few flash-points
around the world that are a cause for concern but today my heart goes out to the people of
Zimbabwe in a special way. You do not need a doctorate in political science
to realise that there is a severe crisis in that country. Those who say they are
hearing the sound of a ticking time-bomb should not be dismissed as day-dreamers.
Starvation and a bloodbath are staring the nation in the face. Christians in Zimbabwe are
calling out for intercessory prayer on behalf of their country.
Thank God for fathers. Thank God for
godly fathers. In those countries that will be celebrating Father's Day on Sunday we would
like to wish fathers God's blessing. May the Lord grant them manhood from above.
Have a blessed weekend.
Pressing on!
In His love
Fano Sibisi
