As you pray -31 May 2008
My dear friends
There is an excitement
and gratitude at Radio Khwezi. Yesterday evening at a well-covered SABC (South African
Broadcasting Corporation) function in Johannesburg Khwezi's children's programme 'Kids On
Air' walked away with big prizes. It warmed my heart to hear how our young presenters,
Siwe Cele and Nontokozo Mchunu, and the producer, Makhosi Maphumulo, acknowledged God in
their success. Soli Deo Gloria!
We rejoice with the families of Cobus
Greyling and Bernice de Vries as the pair is getting married at KwaSizabantu today. May
the Lord bless them.
Our thoughts are often with Onkel Erlo
as he continues to recuperate. At the wedding service this morning Onkel Friedel passed on
greetings from Onkel Erlo and thanked God for signs of restoration of his health. We pray
on.
Greetings from Jan de Bruin in the
northern part of the Netherlands. He requests our prayers for the services with Jan Willem
Mout at the Cederborg this weekend.
It was good to hear from Lionel
Roosemont in Belgium. He requests prayers for different upcoming events at Watou. This
weekend Belgium is hosting George Ochse, Mario Rocha and the group from the Eastern and
Western Cape. George is scheduled to give his testimony today and Mario is to take the
Sunday service.
The TAK Radio team in Berlin would
appreciate your prayers for their programme tomorrow. This time they are looking at
how the wayward media is leading people astray, with a special focus on computer games
(Medienvewahrlosung - am Beispiel der PC-Spiele).
Jean-Pierre Coulin
requests prayers for the Annual Conference of CFT-France at Montmiral. The topics to
be discussed include euthanasia, health, internet and pornography. Speakers will be Dr
Jean-Yves Comeli, Dr André Maghakian, Ferny Jaegle, André Bocquet and Jean-Pierre.
Have a blessed weekend.
Pressing on!
In His love
Fano Sibisi
