The reports we are getting from the Ascension Day outreach in
Durban on Ascension Day are touching. CFT members and Christians from
other organisations braved the cold and rainy weather to proclaim the Good News of full
salvation in our risen and ascended Lord. Songs, testimonies and brief sermons filled the
air. Let us pray for those who heeded the Master's call and for the Lord's further
blessing on the good seed that was sown.
Peet Botha and Gideon Jacobs sent greetings from
Tulsa in Oklahoma, USA. They had a blessed time in Cincinatti, Ohio. This weekend they
have services in Springfield, Missouri, a contact that came through the Romanian CCE
student, Lidia Veciunca. They thank us for the prayers and ask for further support.
From Malmesbury in the Cape Sanet de Wet writes
that they are glad at Moreson to have Tannie Santa Snyman from Lichtenburg taking
services this weekend.
Ds Theuns de Wet has been invited to
preach in the Lutheran Church on Sunday. From Monday he is due to take Pentecost services
in the local United Reformed Church.
Sanet's next service at the local hospital is
scheduled for coming Thursday.
Your prayers for the above-mentioned
appointments and the ministry at Moreson will be valued.
These days Dorothea Killus sent me a
picture of the painting 'Abandoned' by Kate Austin. The words written under the painting
struck a chord with me,
"Sweet bliss
To be nothing
To be only
What you've made
Sweet bliss
To be Yours completely"
Pressing on!
In His love
