As you pray -28 March 2008

My dear friends

We are thankful that Onkel Friedel and Tante Rita are back safely from Europe.

Even though I am confined to the bed, 'visiting' services in different parts of the world in prayer and hearing about God's working refresh me.

Again, I was blessed as some of the brethren shared with me about the services in Switzerland for the Eurochor with Onkel Friedel and the team.

Another encouraging report came from the Easter services in Romans, Southern France, with Arno and the team.

May the Lord keep marching on in our midst.

Last Saturday TAK Radio in Berlin had a special Easter programme. The theme was "Ostern - mehr als Eier, Hasen und Kommerz (Easter - more than eggs, rabbits and business). Their guests were Otto Unterreiner from Bavaria and Radio Khwezi's Tante Baerbel Koch (presently on a visit in Europe).

Tomorrow (Saturday) evening TAK Radio will be discussing under the theme "Leben und leben lassen" (Live and let live). They will be hosting Iris Barske, a professional midwife. Iris will be answering questions about her profession and the challenges that they face with moral issues like abortion. She will be responding to a self-posed question, "Hebamme and Abtreibung - passt das zusammen? (Midwife and Abortion - does that fit together?). Your prayers will be appreciated.

It was good to hear from Mario Rocha. He returned from Mozambique last week. Considering his health, he and the team that is building the clinic in Zavora marvel at how much the Lord gave him grace to do.

Mario, an Angolan-born Portuguese-speaking South African, has a special heart for Portuguese-speaking countries.

Let us pray on for Doctors for Life International and Zavora.

A team from Radio Khwezi will be going to Mthunzini tomorrow to promote the listeners' club and the radio station. As the Lord reminds you, pray for the ministry of Radio Khwezi.

We rejoice with the families of Cobus Greyling and Bernice de Vries as the two young people will be getting engaged at KwaSizabantu on Sunday. May the Lord bless them.

Have a blessed weekend.

Pressing on!

In His love

Fano Sibisi
