As you pray -6 March 2008
My dear friendsWe are thankful that in spite of the challenging weather in
Kaltbrunn last weekend the Eurochor recording went well. May the new CD and the
further ministry of the Eurochor be blessed.
On Saturday 1 March Prof Peter Beyerhaus's mother
turned 100 in Berlin. We thank God with her and the family and wish her God's further
blessing.
Klaus and Gundula Alius are with Helmer and Elke
Frommholz in Lostau, Magdeburg. Klaus asks that we remember the Frommholzes in a special
way.
On Sunday Klaus is scheduled to preach in
Bielstein and Marienmuenster. He will value your prayers.
Onkel Klaus and Tante Lotti Wunderlich came by
yesterday to say goodbye. As they fly back to Germany today may the Lord go before them.
From Paris, Didier Schott is thankful for the
prayer support. After a major operation he is recuperating slowly. He says that in spite
of his health condition his heart is burning for the Democratic Republic of Congo and the
Gypsies of France. 30 Gypsies would like to attend the European Ministers' Conference in
Switzerland in April. We pray on.
Bettina Marayag from Times Square Church in New
York has e-mailed from Mexico to request prayer support for the Pastors' Conference in
Villahermosa, Mexico. Pastors Dave and Gary Wilkerson are ministering at the conference
which started yesterday and ends tomorrow (5-7 March)
Mario Rocha sent an update on Tuesday from
the Mozambique border. Thankfully, they have cleared the container through the Customs.
Yesterday they were supposed to be on their way to Zavora with the valuable cargo.
The friends from the Netherlands were scheduled to arrive on Tuesday.
In addition to praying for the construction of
the clinic and the installation of facilities let us also pray for the successful
finalisation of the negotiations on the purchasing of the adjacent property which DFL
wants to use to accommodate the clinic staff.
From Moreson in Western Cape Sanet de Wet is
thankful for the blessed service at the local hospital.
Tomorrow, Friday evening, the local United
Reformed Church has invited True Love Waits to address their youth meeting. Sanet requests
prayers for that meeting too.
Andries van Tonder has been invited to join
Alpheus Mdlalose and the team that is to minister in Pomeroy this weekend. He requests our
prayers.
Have a blessed week further.
Pressing on!
In His love
