| My dear friends Dr Albu van Eeden, CEO of Doctors for Life, requests that even at
this late hour we pray for the finalisation of the same-sex legislation. Parliament goes
into recess on Thursday and the pressure is on to push the bill through, possibly by
tomorrow.
Our main concern is that the leadership of the ANC, the
majority party, has decided to suppress the freedom of conscience vote amongst its
members.
Even at this 11th hour, some Christian leaders are trying to
negotiate with key stakeholders. Keep praying.
