What does CFT believe?

CFT accepts the Bible as the inspired Word of God and therefore believes that inter alia the following Biblical principles and values be upheld and promoted as the true foundation for a New South Africa:

  • Acknowledgement of the Triune God and His Lordship over the universe, mankind and governments.

  • The family, where there is a Biblical relationship between husband and wife, children and parents, as the basis of a strong, healthy and balanced society.

  • Life as a gift from God to be respected and guarded and held in the highest regard by man himself, the Church and the State. (Class hatred; discrimination on the basis of colour; violence; intimidation; abortion; are all in conflict with God's Word.)

  • Freedom of religion and the freedom to practice faith without State interference.

  • Education free from secular humanist philosophy, made available to all people with recognition of the right of parents to raise their children in the ways of God.

  • The right of private ownership, free enterprise and economic progress.

  • The duty of governments and authorities to govern in the fear of the Lord and to create a climate for just activities of all citizens, and of being fully accountable.

  • Moral righteousness as the essential cornerstone for a nation to be truly successful, and ensuring that all forms of moral decay be addressed.

  • Peaceful co-existence based on the Biblical principle of brotherly love and "doing unto others as you would have done to yourself." (Reconciliation between individuals, groups and nations are to be sought in the love of God through Christ.)

  • The youth as a new generation and the future leaders, should be cherished and protected from abuse.
