Sexuality education is a critical component in the development of every child. Traditional family values must be affirmed. The topic must be presented modestly and in its proper moral framework, with premarital sexual abstinence emphasized and encouraged, NOT as "comprehensive" "value-neutral" sex education which presents sexuality as amoral, focusing on "safe sex" behaviors while tearing abstinence as an unrealistic and unnecessary goal. BUT, teaching Biblical universal sexual morals is the only viable solution to HIV/AIDS.

Matthew 18v6,7: But if anyone causes one of these little ones … to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!

Millions of jobs and entire industries are supported by teen sexual irresponsibility.

The AIDS Crisis became the springboard for liberal sex education. How many of our clinics have cupboards brimming with contraceptive devices, but no medication, no equipment?

The Planned Parenthood global policy condemns present and future South Africans to premature death and disability through HIV/AIDS.

• Planned Parenthood maintain a radical agenda, especially regarding issues of sexuality.

• Founded in the early 1920’s, originally known as the American Birth Control League, and became known as Planned Parenthood in 1942.

• Believe in sociological / scientific justification for birth control:

• "Negro Project", 1939 – targeted Black community = extermination project [Proctor and Gamble involvement] – see "The Question", LifeNews 21/4/99. Abortion STILL leading cause of death in African American community.
• Eugenics = control fertility of "unfit" [mentally and physically unfit] = sterilization of "genetically unfit races" to "create a race of thoroughbreds" – Nazi programme in WWII.
• Her goal of abortion on demand realized in 1973 in USA. Abortion on demand = for any individual, at any age, for any reason, without restrictions.
• Reproductive health kits sent into Kosovo – see PRI Review June/July 1994.

She was deeply involved in promoting population control – including abortion – because she saw it as a way to rid the human race of inferior people. Catholics United For Life, a Third Order Dominican Community, identified Planned Parenthood as the head of the abortion monster and led a nationwide campaign to expose Planned Parenthood’s programme of genocide."¹

"Planned Parenthood is a major advocate of sex between minors. Planned Parenthood bombards children with sexual information devoid of moral distinctions. Planned Parenthood tells our children that they should be "responsible" when they have sex. "Responsible sexuality" means:

• use birth control devices when you have sex so you don’t get pregnant
• if you do get pregnant, have an abortion

Planned Parenthood refuse to acknowledge that children as young as 10 years are too young to have sex.

In the name of "Sexual Health", Planned Parenthood distributes all kinds of offensive sex education material and pushes for the use of birth control by minors.

Planned Parenthood promotes all types of deviant and harmful sexual behaviour for your children, calling it "safe sex" and "sexual preferences".²

Since 1994, PPASA has been taking lifeskills and sexuality education into our schools. !500 teachers were trained between 1994 and 1997, when they were awarded the tender for "Lifeskills and HIV/AIDS Education" in 5 provinces, and were to train 2 teachers per high school. This programme is incorporated in the context of Life Orientation Learning, part of the O.B.E. Curriculum 2005.

Organizations involved in assisting with training: FAMSA [Western Cape]; LifeLine, Scripture Union, Youth for Christ [Eastern Cape]. Lions Quest Skills for Adolescence uses Planned Parenthood material in their programme.

The first S'camto/loveLife publication was printed by the Sunday Times on 9 July 2000.

Some of the textbooks: Straight Talk [for teens]; Responsible Teenage Sexuality [for educators] = give teens facts they need in order to carry out sexually fulfilling and healthy lives; Bodywise.

Deviant behaviour and sexual experimentation is being encouraged through lifeskill programmes in schools. These programmes promote homosexual and lesbian relationships, abortion and contraception. They give explicit instruction in oral sex, orgasm, intercourse and masturbation. This licentious crude and immoral material produced by Planned Parenthood – who won the government tender for sex education in schools, and in fact control all government and donor HIV/AIDS funding – does nothing to stem the tide of HIV/AIDS and sexual immorality, but exacerbates it on every level. Marriage and family life are being systematically targeted and undermined, and this will have serious repercussions in our nation. The family is the cornerstone of society, the basic structure upon which nations are built. BUT Planned Parenthood does not agree with this: contraception and abortion without parental consent. The Marie Stopes toll-free number is published and students are reminded "it is your right to get an abortion".

The explicit and graphic details may cause scholars and teachers to be aroused.

In "Economics of Family Planning and Underage Conception", a 14-year study done by Dr David Paton [U.K., March 2002], it is noted that access to family planning clinics encourages more sexual activity, and higher contraceptive failure rates add to the problem of teenage pregnancy.

Condomania

Crafty ambiguity in slogan "safer sex" – majority people think they were safe before, and are now safer. Condoms are safer than nothing, but they are "Russian Roulette". Not one of 800 sexologists at a conference raised their a hand when asked if they would trust a thin rubber sheath to protect them during intercourse with a known HIV-infected person.

School hostels are encouraged to make condoms available to sexually active students and teach them how to dispose of these.

Speak the truth boldly and honestly. Teach correctly when it comes to prevention. If married, be faithful [zero-grazing]. If not married, abstinence until marriage is the only guaranteed preventative measure. Condoms are not preventative – they only REDUCE the risk – teach that when deciding to use a condom, a risk situation is being entered.

"Experts" chose the condom solution not because there is evidence that it will work, but because it is the only plan that will not interfere with sexual liberation. [AIDS in Africa, Heartbeat News, 4 February 2001].

However, a UN report, "HIV/AIDS, Awareness and Behaviour", dated 23 June 2002 suggests that condoms are not the answer to the AIDS epidemic.

Twenty churches in Malawi signed a petition calling for a Population Services International billboard condom advertisement to be censored, saying: "Enticing the population to sex to promote the sale of condoms is like happily dousing us with petrol for the sake of promoting fire extinguishers." Abstinence Education and No Apologies

Teaching reality is teaching abstinence. Abstinence is not a myth; marriage is not an outdated institution; virginity is not a dirty word.

We don’t teach safer drinking, drug-taking, smoking [other high-risk behaviors] = why then teach so-called safer sex?

We must change the A / B / C to Abstinence Until Marriage / Behaviour – Be faithful / Character - Christ There must be a call to place emphasis on abstinence UNTIL marriage. Giving a mixed message dilutes the power of expecting a high moral standard. We need to change the perception of "no consequence" sex.

Any instruction on contraception MUST include information on failure rates for preventing pregnancy, STDs, HIV/AIDS in actual use among adolescents. Also include reasons, skills and strategies for remaining or becoming abstinent from sexual activity.

• We need to repent for the part we have played [or not played and just kept silent]. Pray that God does not release His wrath on our nation before we as His soldiers have the opportunity to turn this immoral and unthinkable evil away from His eyes. • As a slogan we can adapt the words of Karl Marx: Parents of the world unite. You have nothing to lose except your children.
• School Boards and legislators do NOT have all the facts, and are not aware of the inconsistencies and verifiable flaws. Most have good intentions.
• Teens want the abstinence message. Parents can win. [see leaflet].

• Prayer is the first, middle and ending step. Never go to a meeting without knowing that people are praying. Establish Mothers Who Care Through Prayer groups at ALL schools.
• Know the Biblical Principles: Proverbs 22v6,15; Ephesians 5v3; Ephesians 6v4; Deuteronomy 4v8-9; Deuteronomy 6v5-7; Ezekiel 16v58; Psalm 78v5-6; 2 Timothy 3v15; 1 Corinthians 6v9-12,13b,15-18;……..
• Know your facts. Know the medical data. Know the background / hidden agenda of authors.
• Compare and evaluate different materials that may already be in the schools with abstinence-until-marriage programme such as No Apologies from Focus on the Family. [Scrutinise even so-called Christian material: Scripture Union, Youth for Christ, Lions Quest Skills for Adolescence………]. Insist on seeing the material.
• Bring abstinence until marriage education to your school district. CFT in Bloemfontein held a banner display on 14 March 2002; the Free State Dept of Education will not tolerate loveLife in their schools.
• Locate funding. Support teachers who teach abstinence until marriage education. Volunteer to help teach Lifeskills education.
• Meet with other parents. Agree to opt-out. Se letter to principal.
• Agree to serve on your school governing body. Develop your own written policy on sex education. Ensure that morals and values framework for sexuality education is directly derived from the Bible.
• Inform South African funders of the hidden agenda. Build bridges. Be professional. Respect officials’ time. Be positive, not negative.
• Sign a Pledge [see Abstinence Clearinghouse Position Statements; Colorado Statement on Biblical Sexual Morality – www.focusonpurity.com].

Be persistent. My first article on the subject appeared on the Internet in September 1999 [after my meeting with our Dept of education to "answer to allegations" in May].

Recommendations were also made to the Religious Parliament in Bisho in July 2001:

"Implement the Focus on the Family teen-positive, character-building, lifeskills programme No Apologies, taught through a system of empowerance of key trainers, enabling youth to make quality decisions in potentially life-threatening situations, addressing all high-risk behaviors, working preventatively using age-related medically factual material to promote basic universal morals and ethics, to help prevent immorality, unplanned teenage pregnancy, and lower rate of STDs and HIV/AIDS infection."

• We should now be able to have a Plan for Action and answer:

• What should be done?
• Why should it be done?
• Where should it be done?
• When should it be done?
• How should it be done?
• Who should do it?

PROPOSAL: Each ACDP branch in South Africa to purchase a No Apologies curriculum and identify a person to be trained, who will implement what the programme, albeit on a voluntary basis.

PROPOSAL: Sign a pledge [attached], encourage others to also sign the pledge, which could possibly become the basis for a petition. I will collate this.

CONNED BY THE CONDOM

We’ve been conned into believing

that the love we are receiving

is "OK if we will use the condom right".

Yet such teachings but encourage

widespread sex outside of marriage

and multiply the scary VD blight.

As a means of contraception

few folk fell for the deception

"It’s OK if people use the condom right".

With but five days monthly fertile

one in six still failed to curtail

the pregnancy they didn’t want that night.

In research that was inspected

where one partner was infected

and they used the condom carefully as they ought,

one in five caught H.I.V.,

so, ‘tis plain for all to see,

the condom’s not as safe as we are taught.

Yet the propaganda teaches

"You’ll avoid sexual diseases.

You’re OK if you will use the condom right".

So you squash your inhibitions

and have sex without restrictions

and trust that piece of rubber with your life!

So the more that people manage

to have sex outside of marriage

thinking "Sex is safe if condom’s used aright"

so the more the AIDS is spread

and the more folk end up dead
