Women's Day, 9 Aug 2007

Dear CFT Members

Within the next week there are a number of important events which CFT can help proclaim God's truth. The other issues are on the CFT Home Page.

1. WOMEN'S DAY 9 AUGUST
The KZN Provincial Committees have arranged an action at the Amphitheatre next to the Workshop Shopping Centre in Durban, starting at 12h00, on 9 August 2007. It will consist mostly of women and young people giving their testimonies, presentations, and a poster demonstration. The main emphasis is on strengthening the family and protecting women and children. Topics will include pornography (especially, the connection of eTV) and abortion (with an emphasis on the Abortion Amendment Hearings next week). Women's Day this year is ideal to advertise the need for those who are "family friendly" to be involved with the public hearings next week (which will determine the further liberalisation of abortion and making inyangas, sangomas and other occult healers, into Professional Doctors).
We do hope that your Province has something arranged for Women's Day, and is aiming to participate in the next week's hearings which is over 3 days across the country. Look on CFT's website for a Schedule of the Public Hearings, including places in your Province, the telephone and email addresses of the Health Department Officials. This will be continually updated as the Health Department has not given all the information.
